Congratulations to everyone as it was a real team effort again this year! I was so pleased that the Saturday and Sunday of the Bank Holiday weekend had lovely weather for the judging as sadly Monday’s weather destroyed some of the lovely items and we had to completely remove the display by Tuesday due to the wind and rain. However, while I was taking the beautiful display down a neighbour came to speak to me and said how impressed she was with our display. She also wanted to tell me that she has witnessed a number of visitors to our school and that they had taken lots of time to view our creations and read our work on ‘Planets and Stars.’ I thanked her as it is always lovely to hear such positive comments about St Matthias and how our Well Dressing display gave such pleasure to the people visiting last weekend. I felt so proud. I hope some of you managed to visit some of the Wells around Malvern. I managed to visit many Wells and I have to say they were all very unique and stunning. It was really special and certainly instilled a sense of awe and wonder in me as I read and viewed other Well Dressing displays.
